It's a bird, it's a plane!!

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. (the acronym stands for High Altitude Warfare eXperimental squadron, very nifty!) is an air combat video game that will let you pilot your very own high tech fighter jet in a grim near future war theater, where the US are under assault! Scramble!!!

The game takes place during the time of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (which you can also play here!), where private military companies have taken over (or been handed over) the military role of governments in many countries. You will take the seat of David Crenshaw ¿ an ex-military elite pilot who was recruited by one of the evil corporations to work for them as one of their pilots, fighting whoever and whenever he is told to. You later find that you're doing the bidding of evil lords, and so you decide to go back to the US Air Force together with your team, and try to prevent a full scale terrorist attack on the United States, which, quite coincidentally was initiated by the military company we are talking about.
